Gorgeous pattern and true to the images for the finished product! This was very fun and straightforward to knit. The directions were very easy to follow despite this being my first time using a pattern. Made my mom a gorgeous blanket and now my aunts are all pestering me for one too :) I wanted a tighter weave/heavier blanket so I used a size down on the needles.

Growing up in Newfoundland, Canada, surrounded by crafty family members, learning to knit was inevitable! With the arrival of my own children, my knitting passion was re-ignited out of necessity and desire to create handmade items for them.

In 2010, I began designing and selling knitwear from my original designs. Eventually these creations became self-designed pdf patterns and arrived in my Etsy shop in 2014, Today I have a small backyard knitting studio where I store knitwear, yarn and welcome locals to visit anytime.
