Crochet hearts and a burst of colour...

I’ve always loved making and creating things. My mum taught me how to knit and sew at a young age and as a result, I gravitated towards the the creative subjects in school, which lead me down the Art and Design route. I studied Design at University, specialising in Textiles and Ceramics and after I graduated, my career took a different path for many years but I never stopped making.

I was a teacher of Design Technology in a secondary school for 7 years before I took the plunge and decided to become self employed. In September 2015, my Etsy shop was opened.

I make every order from scratch. Each personalised card is made to order and I crochet every little heart you’ll find on them. I'm always adding new designs to my shop, so If there's a card that you're after but can't find it, please get in touch...Some of the cards you see in my shop today started life as a message from a customer!

In 2018, I became an ambassador for the @nakedcards campaign which means I ditched the single use plastic cellos which means your order will arrive free of any plastic.

Lastly, If you're wondering where the name 'Mollycat Studio' came from, I named it after our little rescue cat Molly... she spent a lot of her time in my studio sleeping on the floor soaking up the sun. Sadly she lost her battle with lymphoma in January 2020 and we had to say a sad goodbye. She may be gone, but her furry legacy will live on :)

Personalised orders cannot be refunded or exchanged, unless the item is found to be faulty.

Royal Mail are very busy at the moment, and they're doing all they can to get through the huge number of orders as quickly as possible.
While some orders are arriving within a couple of days, others are taking up to two weeks to arrive.

There is every chance your order will be with you within 1 or 2 working days (from dispatch) but it is possible it may be a day or more late.

If you are waiting on your order and it has been more than 10 working days since you had your dispatch confirmation email then I'll happily look into this for you - otherwise I really appreciate your patience, and I am confident your order will arrive in the coming days.


As a buyer you are responsible for making sure your shipping address is correct. If you notice a mistake please contact me as soon as possible.

Please be aware of any postal strikes and UK bank holidays - I'm afraid I can't be held responsible for any delays as a result of this.

Q: Do you offer delivery upgrades?
A: I only post out 1st class.

Q: Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date?
A: I always send out orders 1st class on or before their dispatch date - your order is then in the hands of the Royal Mail. Please refer to your estimated delivery date for when to expect it. (please bear in mind that while the majority of orders are arriving within a day or two, some are taking longer to arrive)

Q: Are your cards blank inside?
A: Yes

Q: Is there a tracking number for my card order?
A: I ship from the UK and all card orders are sent 1st class, this service is not tracked. Please see my Delivery policy for more details.

Q: Can you write in the card and send the card direct to my recipient?
A: Absolutely! Just purchase the 'send direct' listing along with your card.

Q: Can I have 2 different coloured hearts on my card?
A: Yes, that's no problem - just leave me a note in the 'note to seller' box at checkout.

Q: Can I have the illustration of 2 women/ 2 men on my greetings card?
A: Yes, Please leave me a note when you purchase.

Q: Can the illustration of the couple on your wedding and anniversary cards be modified?
A: No, I'm afraid not.

Please note - If I am unsure of who's who (male & female) on an anniversary card order (eg: when nicknames are specified), the male will be pictured on the left and the female on the right. If you'd like the names to correspond with the image, please let me know who's who when ordering.

** Personalisation details ** In the event of an order being placed but no personalisation details stated, I will always reach out to you via Etsy convo for these details but if I haven't heard back from you by the time your card needs to be dispatched, I will send out a non-personalised card and refund the price difference **

Although every effort is made to photograph my items accurately and describe my products in detail, I cannot guarantee every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of each product. If in any doubt, please contact me if you have any queries regarding the colour or size of any item before purchasing.
Information I Collect
I will only use your shipping and billing address, and contact information:
To fulfil your order.
You must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for example: a personalised custom order). Any paper copies of your details are destroyed securely immediately after use (order sheets, Royal mail Click and drop print outs).
For legal reasons (like paying taxes).
Your details will be held on securely online, within the Etsy website, however they will not be used for any other reason, and I would never share your contact details without your express consent.

Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
To communicate with you about your order. There are occasions when after an order is placed, I may require additional information from you that wasn’t specified when the order was placed (personalised text required). If you check out as a guest on Etsy, I will contact you via the email address you have provided to Etsy. Alternatively, If you have an account with Etsy, I will contact you via the message facility (If I have had no response, I may use your email address you have provided to Etsy to contact you) Please note - If I contact you via the Etsy message facility, you will automatically receive an automated email from Etsy advising you of this.
