What happens if nobody is home when delivery is attempted?
The Hermes courier will make three attempts to deliver your parcel. If nobody is available to accept and sign for delivery, they will leave a calling card to let you know when they will make their next attempt - which is usually the next working day.
If the courier is still unable to deliver the parcel and obtain a signature after 3 attempts, you will need to pay the delivery charge again should you still want the item. Please get in touch for details.
Why don't you accept returns if I change my mind?
As per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, all of my items are tailor-made or tailor-printed to order and/or personalised. Therefore, if they are returned, they can no longer be sold as tailor-made/printed or personalised for someone else. For this reason I cannot accept returns due to a change of mind.
Can the buyer request the cancellation of an order before being shipped?
So long as the item has not been personalised, we will accept requests for cancelling an order before it is shipped. We want our customers to be happy so would rather not send an item if it is not wanted.
If an item has been custom made and/or personalised then it cannot be resold so the order cannot be cancelled.
As Etsy still charge us a transaction fee for cancelled orders, there will be a £1.25 cancellation fee if the buyer simply changes their mind to cover this cost.
