MsModifyPLAY! è un'azienda familiare nata ufficiosamente due anni fa, quando ero frustrata perché non riuscivo a trovare il cellulare perfetto per la cameretta del mio bambino. Avevo in mente un design molto specifico che volevo (semplice, moderno ma boho). Ogni mobile in cui mi sono imbattuto era fatto di pompon di feltro e sapevo che volevo che fossero di legno. L'ho detto a mia madre e lei mi ha detto di disegnarlo come volevo e lei lo avrebbe realizzato! Lo ha fatto e si è rivelato migliore di quanto avessi mai immaginato ed è diventato il pezzo di dichiarazione nella scuola materna che spero!
Avanti veloce di due anni quando mio padre costruì a mio figlio un paio di macchinine nella sua officina con scarti di legno. Sono diventati subito i giocattoli preferiti di Declan e improvvisamente anche tutti i suoi amici ne hanno voluto uno. Abbiamo deciso di condividere i disegni con amici e familiari e tutti li hanno adorati! Questo ci ha dato la spinta per avviare un'attività di vendita di prodotti in legno fatti a mano in linea con lo stile genitoriale Montessori che ho. È sempre stato un nostro sogno avere un'azienda di famiglia e lo spazio per neonati / bambini è esattamente dove i nostri cuori sentono che deve essere!
Con un cenno alla sicurezza e alla sostenibilità, tutti i nostri prodotti sono realizzati a mano con materiali naturali e utilizzano solo finiture atossiche e di qualità alimentare. Tutto è fatto su ordinazione e realizzato da mio padre, mia mamma o me stesso (e l'aiuto di mio marito!) con attenzione ai dettagli, al design e alla qualità. Ci auguriamo che apprezzerai i nostri prodotti tanto quanto a noi piace crearli e condividerli con tutti!

MsModifyPLAY! is a family business that was born unofficially two years ago when I was frustrated that I couldn’t find the perfect mobile for my baby’s nursery. I had a very specific design in mind that I wanted (simple, modern yet bohemian). Every mobile I came across was made out of felt balls and I knew I wanted them to be wooden. I told my mom and she told me to design it how I wanted and she would make it! She did and it turned out better than I ever imaged and became the statement piece in the nursery I hope for!
Fast forward two years when my dad made my son a couple of toy cars in his workshop from scraps of wood. They immediately became Declan’s favorite toys and suddenly all his friends wanted one too. We decided to share the designs with friends and family and everyone loved them! This gave us the nudge to start a business selling handmade wooden products that align with the Montessori style of parenting I have. It’s always been a dream of ours to have a family business and the baby/kid space is exactly where our hearts feel like it needs to be!
With a nod to safety and sustainability all of our products are handmade from natural materials and use only non-toxic and food grade finishes. Everything is made to order and crafted by my dad, mom or myself (and help from husband!) with attention to detail, design, and quality.
