1.) Tell us a bit about yourself (name, location, affiliations, personal stuff).
Hello, my name is Aurélie and I live in England since 2009. I initially came from France for 6 months, but here we are more than 10 years later still here with 2 kids, a husband and a dog. I am still trying to comprehend what happened!

2.) What is the first thing you can remember making by hand? How and why did you make it?
I think I really understood I liked creating stuff during my year in Skibbereen, Ireland as an au pair. I was looking after 2 amazing kiddos and we spent our afternoons making crafts! Robots made out of card boxes, mother’s day bracelets made out of pasta, handmade cards… And I know exactly what you're thinking!
"Now, with 2 kids of your own, you must create so many things together!?"
↳Hum, not really, 20 years ago, I had more patient and I was being paid for doing all these stuff!!! 🙂

3.) What inspires you? Where do your ideas come from?
Honestly, my husband and I are usually coming up with ideas or “one – upping” each other for a laugh. I am constantly absorbing everything around me like, I turn some of the ideas into labels and stickers for my etsy shop! Our ideas come from our life's funny situations, special occasions, childhoods, long drives, pop culture, our families, strangers...

4.) What are your favourite products to make?
Currently, making candles. It takes time and it's very soothing and I love to come up with funny quotes . My favourite candle is a friendship candle that reads: Best friends don't judge each other, they judge other people together" And my favourite scent is warm & cosy!

5.) What are you favourite films?
I love disaster movies! They are defined by a large amount of destruction, specifically from naturally occurring events, where characters try to survive.
↳I'm not afraid to say that if it happens in real life, don't look at me like the saviour I should be because I have watch them all, because girl! I would be in the corner of the room, head in knees screaming "this is the end, we are all going to die"

I'm also happy to report that I loooooooove rom-com, especially hallmark movie. I'm actually working on my own scenario - working title is – “ Love struck twice”
The pitch: Samantha Jensens lives in New York and works as a event planner for a prestigious company. This Christmas, she is travelling to Bakerville to help with the family Bed & Breakfast, the Blue Fox Inn. The Jensens wanted Samantha to take over someday but Samantha's career is everything to her. Can the big city girl works with the small town mayor?

6.) What are you reading right now?
I love chick lit, my current reading is Living your best life from Maxine Morrey. I try to read one book each month!

7.) Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I have a busy life, between the shop, the husband, the kids, the dog and friends. I try to carve some time to enjoy the outdoors, try new restaurants & explore new places.
