I think Natalie has a wonderful eye for composition - from discovering the Etsy thumbnail, to standing back to take in the large-format print I received, plus walking forward again to see the detail of the big print, there is so much to enjoy in terms of the geometry in nature. I suppose that much might be enjoyed from a photograph, however Natalie has painted her stunning magnified dahlia with such patience and sensitivity that I feel her art takes us far beyond reality to a very privileged place indeed.
