Simply styled, carefully crafted
Silver jewellery handmade in the North of England
Working out of a small studio in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, I make a range of simply styled and carefully crafted jewellery, inspired by the light and landscape of the Northern hills, and the rich cultural heritage of the various peoples who have lived here from neolithic times. I also have occasional hand-picked vintage items for sale.
My starting point was a couple of courses with a local jeweller whose encouragement inspired me and gave me the confidence to begin making my own work.
I work primarily in sterling silver using a small range of hand tools and traditional silversmithing techniques, resulting in individual, unique pieces of handmade jewellery. These have a variety of finishes, often with the addition of gemstones or semi-precious stones, and occasionally with 9ct gold accents.
My precious metals are all 100% recycled and are sourced from hallmarked heritage jewellery, reworked by melting, forging, rolling and hand working, or bought direct from the UK’s leading metal merchant. Gemstones, semi-precious stones and findings are ethically sourced from a leading Cornwall-based craft store.
All items are packaged in handmade presentation boxes and shipped in recyclable packaging wherever possible.
