During this challenging time of lockdown and social distancing I will only be accepting orders within the UK. I have paused International Orders. For those in the UK, if Royal Mail are still posting, I am still posting, First Class Mail only. Thank you
Autumn colours orange_heart Anyone else still get a little thrill from finding a good conker in its prickly case? We’ve got a bumper crop of conkers this year and I’m not looking forward to the clear up! This necklace qualifies for free UK postage too.

Noko Designs - jewellery with a hint of bohemian style

I studied Textiles at school and thought I would follow my passion into University but a career in travel with blue seas and white beaches hoodwinked me!

I swayed several times over the years to go back to textiles going to night courses in soft furnishings and the like but it wasn't until after having two sons that I finally took the courage and left.

For several years I worked for a well known American Jewellery & Accessory company and in 2015 decided to branch out and start creating my own designs.

My jewellery is inspired by some of the amazing countries I have visited during my 10yrs in the travel industry and my love of all things bohemian.

My company is named after my Dachshund, Noko. We thought we’d made the name up from a shortened form of Orinoco from the Wombles of Wimbledon. However, I have seen when posting on Instagram many use the #noko. So I have google its meaning and in the ‘urban dictionary’.... ‘Noko is a term frequently used by creative people Down Under and in French speaking countries, implying beautiful and functional design’...Pretty stoked with that for my company!

My husband created the design on my logo tags by forming the name Noko into a dachshund. Hope you like it!

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Return items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Returns/exchanges are accepted when you have contacted me within 14 days of receiving your jewellery (unless custom made).

Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment upon my receipt of the jewellery (less shipping costs). Please carefully wrap the jewellery or use its original packaging.

All purchases will be carefully wrapped, so the chances of receiving damaged goods are minimal. If however, you feel that it is, please do take a picture and get in contact. If your item is indeed faulty, it can be returned to be repaired or for an exchange or refund.

Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
Payment
You can pay via paypal or credit/debit card.

As soon as payment is processed I will put your item in the post.
Delivery

First Class UK orders are still being sent within 1-2 days from my local post box. Thank you for your understanding***

I will be using Royal Mail First Class in the UK and Royal Mail International Tracked for other countries. If you reside in the UK, you can choose to upgrade your shipping to Signed For or Special Delivery at check out.

Items will be put in the post in recyclable cardboard boxes, the size of a large letter and I am recycling jiffy padded envelopes where I can.

Most orders will be shipped between 1-3 business days Monday - Friday (depending on item chosen and your payment has cleared). During certain peak seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day) shipping may take longer.

International orders will take longer to arrive at their destination, typically 1-4 weeks.

When your order is shipped you will receive an e-mail notification.

Once shipped I cannot control how fast your order will get to you. I am also not to be held responsible if your package is damaged in transit, lost or takes longer to get to you than Royal Mail guidelines.

​If your chosen method of postage is the tracked service. I will provide tracking information so you can track your order in your own time. I will not be tracking the order myself.

I am also not to be held responsible for any items where the delivery was attempted but unsuccessful. Delivery must be rearranged or items must be collected as per your delivery service instructions.

Please double check that you have put in the correct shipping address at check out.

Royal Mail Guidelines:
- First Class UK - Generally, first class post will be delivered the next working day, including Saturdays. This is assuming it is posted in time for that day's collection. For the most part about 24 hours.
- We aim to deliver to Europe in 3 to 5 working days.
- We aim to deliver to the rest of the world in 6 to 7 working days
- Orders sent Standard International shipping typically arrive in about 1-3 weeks. However, delays can occur in transit or holds at the local customs office, so it's possible to take up to 5 weeks for an order to be delivered.

Free Shipping:
I offer free First Class shipping for all UK orders over £30.

If the shipping cost hasn’t been removed from your order, double check that the subtotal of your order has reached the £30 minimum. If you haven’t reached the minimum, perhaps add a pair of earrings to gift at a later date on to your order and get that free shipping!

​Taxes and Customs:
Noko Designs is not responsible for any duty and tax fees for international shipping. To find out if you’ll be charged for duties and taxes, please refer to your local customs website. The limits for duty-free packages are established by your local customs authorities.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

- You may love your jewellery but these are handmade pieces and are not designed to be worn 24-7.
- Jewellery should be the last thing you put on and and the first thing you take off.
- Perfume will tarnish jewellery, spray and dry before you put your jewels on.
- Your jewels should not be worn in water - they are not designed to go in the shower or pool with you.
