Hand made knives since 2004

I'm Oliver, I make things for a living. A lifelong craft enthusiast my favourite materials to work with are Steel, Copper, Bronze and Leather.

The tools I use are mostly older than me and well used, I've collected them over many years. Looking for rusty quality tools at car boot sales is a favourite hobby that feeds into my occupation. Tools are often an inspiration for the things I make.

I'm largely self taught and have learned skills from aspects of a few traditional trades to help me realise my vision of the things I like to make. I'm very critical of my own work and this helps keeps the creativity alive, my work evolve and improve. Working at the vise sometimes, at peak concentration on something I'm making I realise my hands have grown to three times their normal size, nearly dribbling, I'm contented. When the thing being created is finished I'm satisfied I have a thing made with integrity, best effort. I enjoy the process.

My living is earned by selling the folding Pocket knives and carving tools, the majority are sold at Country Fairs and Craft Fairs across the U.K. I sell them here in the low months, my shop listings are stock for the shows. This is my online showcase.

My friend jokes that I could make a living in a phone box - I have a very small workshop. It's quite full of tools, and so, possibilities.
