From me to you

Sometimes there are magical moments in life. For me, such moments are suddenly finding a gem while walking in the wild and catching a double rainbow.
I've always had a keen interest in natural stones. To this day, I love finding natural stones with unusual patterns and colours, love exploring the colours of nature at its most dramatic and at its most serene.
Here I share my passion. For me, the finding and the creation of something unique are the processes which draw me. Once I finish, I want each of my creations to have a life of their own, a welcome home and a story which will continue.
O V Gillies shop was born not out of a desire to set up an artisan business but out of a desire to share my passion and find a loving home for my creations. I changed my shop name to Olga Gillies to reflect that I design and craft each piece myself and that you buy directly from me.

Ready-made items are dispatched in 1-5 working days after the payment.
Custom orders - you will be notified as soon as possible with the estimated time for dispatch.

Returns and exchange details
I want you to be happy with your purchase and shopping with me. If you are dissatisfied with the item for any reason, don't hesitate to contact me.

RETURNS:

***Face Masks are a NON-RETURNABLE item. For reasons of health and hygiene, I am unable to exchange or refund this item, unless faulty.***

Jewellery - Contact me about a return within 14 days of receipt and PRIOR to posting the item back. Returns can be posted within 21 days of receipt. Returns are accepted only on unworn items returned in their original (unworn) condition and packaging, and where the buyer has taken reasonable care of the goods.

EXCEPTIONS:

Cases where I am contacted outside the stipulated 14 days of receipt period and where the consumer is responsible for the breach of the statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods.

CUSTOM & CUSTOMISED ORDERS:

Bespoke/tailor-made or customised items are not eligible for returns/refunds. I will work with you on your order and will do reasonably everything I can to make sure that you are happy with it prior to posting.

REFUNDS:

Refunds will be issued on eligible items/orders within 14 days of me getting the goods back.

A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.
The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

The buyer pays the return postage fee unless the goods are faulty.
Payment
International Customs fees/payments are to be made by the buyer if/when applicable as directed by and in accordance with the rules of your country's Customs Office.
Delivery
I post to all major countries. Please note that your order may be cancelled if I choose not to ship to your country.

All items are sent with a tracking number.

GIFT-WRAPPING:

Items are packaged and/or gift-wrapped at my own discretion, so if you're particular on the subject (as when it's a gift for someone else) and you want something special, just let me know and I'll do my best.

Currently live in the UK, Europe. Please allow sufficient time for delivery to other corners of the Earth.

Orders to USA, Canada and Australia take approx. 6-20 working days to arrive from the date of dispatch.

Once the order is dispatched by the Royal Mail it is out of my hands and control - please be patient. I will do my utmost to resolve any issues, however, please keep in mind that a third party is delivering your order.

When you buy from my Etsy shop, you authorise Etsy to provide me with the information necessary to fulfil your order, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order or message, for example) either at the checkout or if you contact me directly.

2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It

I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:
- as needed to provide my services, such as when I use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
- when you have provided your affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time, such as by signing up for my mailing list;

I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
- Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
- Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

4. The length of time I keep personal information

I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

5. Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

- Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
- Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
- Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
