Curated vintage fabrics, haberdashery & fashion.

Olive Road London was set up by me, Sarah Richards in September 2014. I studied Fashion and Design for 4 years at the London College of Fashion and I have worked in the Fashion and Retail industry for over 10 years. I've been shopping for vintage clothing since being a young teenager in the 1980s and more recently have been sourcing vintage fabrics and haberdashery.
I carefully curate vintage fabrics, haberdashery and fashion to make sure the items are true vintage and of good quality. I also enjoy repurposing vintage fabrics and textiles to make zipper pouches and totes, selling them here in my Etsy store. My handmade items are free from animal products and you will never find fur or fur trims for sale at Olive Road London. Olive Road was named after the street my Nan and Grandad lived for 60 years and holds many dear memories for me and my family.

I love sourcing vintage fabrics that have a story to tell. I clean them, remove hems and sell them on my Etsy store. I also turn some into useful bags I make in my studio in East London, UK.
