My name is Aska and I come from Poland. I have been living in Scotland 12 years now on the beautiful Island of Mull in Tobermory. I share my time between being a mum to a fantastic 14 year old son, being a wife to un amazing artist, working as a home carer and my love of painting nature.

I absolutely love painting and creating. I want to try and capture the beauty of ever changing landscape in my canvases and share it with You. I always had an interest and admiration in art and all beautiful handmade objects into which creators puts so much work time and soul. I found my interest develop into passion and finally practise.

Living in such beautiful country us Scotland I am surrounded by inspiration. My first words coming to Scotland were "Sea, lakes and mountains all in one".
What a gift. I just wanted to paint it all or at least to try capture the beauty of it.

After 11 years of creating my pictures and selling them successfully in our Picture Gallery on the Main Street in Tobermory I decided to start my internet shop. It is a joy seeing people happy when looking at my artwork, because they been to the same places and enjoyed the same moment of seeing sunbeams through the clouds. To cherish their memories of the place and bring them happiness.

All images are my original artwork or as prints were taken by me and developed in my personal style making these images unique. Limited editions run of only 45 or 75, meaning I won't print any more after the edition sell out. They are signed by me, titled and numbered on the front. Unlimited prints are signed on the front. Stretched canvases and resin artwork are signed on the back. Original paintings on the front but in a subtle way.

In our Gallery we photograph, print, mount and frame our art work. We print our fine art prints on the highest quality Canon canvas using 100year light fast Canon inks - meaning they will last a lifetime and more. The colours are intense and fade-free. We love to print on canvas as it gives as a great deal of depth and rich texture like qualities.

We use pigment based archival inks with Canon giclée printer 24" 12 colours. The printer is calibrated to ensure perfect rendition of the colours on my screen. I zoom in close to ensure details in each print are sharp.

High quality 100% cotton bright white colour arctic photo canvas 350gsm to achieve an inkjet print. Canvas is crack resistance.

GICLEE PRINTS are well made canvas prints that will last a long time because of their archival quality, light fastness and stability.

GICLEE ( zhee-clay) it's a type of digital fine-art print. Exact copy of an original work of art that was created by conventional means ( printing, drawing, etc.) and then reproduced digitally.

To mount our mounted prints we use double mounted high quality mounts. Decorative mounts are a growing trend with many customers looking for mounts that give their pictures more personal touch, whiles at the same time needing best possible protection for their art. Also unique long-lasting look.

Fine art matte varnish is applied to stretched canvases to protect against UV light, scratches and scuffs.

I love resin art and for some of my stretched canvases I use quality art resin, UV resistant, optically clear and give the canvas glossy varnish and look for eternity. No need for glass!
I would use it on everything if I could!

Sharing what I love and are inspired by makes me happy. Sunbeams through the sky, red sky and sun before it goes behind the horizon, approaching rain and bright sunshine when it shows through the clouds. All brings feeling of warm and happiness. Love to try and express the beauty, harmony and spirit of this world in my art work. Search for it in landscape, scenery, objects and during that one moment I start to see final image taking shape in my mind.

Creative process has started. I look for ways how best to capture this beautiful and frail moment I have the honour to witness for that split second.

I mainly paint with acrylic and oils.

Fascinated and trying different mixed media techniques I love experimenting with texture and depth in constant look out for interesting different shapes and forms which I can use to create my mixed media images. Love to use grasses and shells. My chest of drawers has lots of tiny little compartments filled with all sorts of nature curiosities which I would use for my mixed media artwork. Beautiful dried flowers collected on a warm days.

Each creative process with mixed media is a journey into unknown and discovery of something new, resulting in new image. Still progressing, learning and discovering all the time.
