Growing up in a family with a proud Peruvian father and beautiful bohemian mother has meant I have grownup in an environment a little different from most. With swirls of bright colours in our Andean textiles covering our walls and furniture, exotic objects such as giant green snail shells, huge seed pods and ancient pots lining our shelves and of course the sound of my father playing his pan pipes drifting through the halls, I have been engulfed in a world of curiosities.
Subsequently I have been inspired to create my jewellery with vibrant colours and unusual natural products such as porcupine quills, real beetle shells, parrot feathers, snake spines, rough-cut semi precious stones and intriguing symbols and emblems from around the world.
Palomita jewellery. For a woman who loves to feel exotic.

Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days of ordering, however some products may take slightly longer but this will always be written in the product description. If you require your item sooner please do let us know and we will try our best to meet you needs.
All UK orders are sent First Class with Royal Mail.
International orders are also sent using Royal Mail. Delivery time can be as much as 12 days (and occasionally i have know packages to take three weeks to get to america, this is rare but possible) however most orders will arrive well before this time. If you would like your order to be tracked please allow me to make you a special listing before your purchase. Please note that international postage tracking will cost around £9 or $13.50 US Dollars.
deliveries to central, south america and south Africa have been know for up to 7 weeks to get there. please allow time for this.
Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer, and the onus is on the customer to check any relevant customs charges, tax or duty, which may be payable in their own country before placing an order. By placing an order you are agreeing to this policy.

We will despatch all orders within 1 week of payment (unless otherwise noted). We will ship all orders by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For within the UK.
If you would like your order to be tracked then please contact us directly for a quote. Outside of the UK we use Royal Mail International Standard; we can not be responsible for the loss or theft of untracked items so please do let us know if you would prefer your item to be shipped via International Tracking & Signature services.
Please note The Emperor's Old Clothes cannot be held responsible for any delays to internationally shipped items due to customs checks; in the unlikely event of a custom check the customer may incur extra customs charges.
