Sarah’s Journey to Building PartyCoreTees 🎉
Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m the proud owner of PartyCoreTees on Etsy.
Ever since I was young, I’ve loved bringing people together. Whether it was planning birthday parties for friends, organizing themed girls’ nights, or designing matching shirts for family vacations, I was always the one adding the “extra” touch that made moments feel special.
Living in California, surrounded by celebrations year-round, I built a stable career in corporate marketing after graduating from college. On paper, everything looked great. But deep down, I felt like something was missing. I missed creating. I missed celebrating. I missed the joy of seeing people light up over something fun and personal.
One summer, while planning a bachelorette trip for my best friend, I designed custom shirts for our group. The reaction was bigger than I ever expected — strangers were asking where we got them. That was my spark.
I took a leap of faith and opened PartyCoreTees on Etsy, investing my savings into launching my first collection of matching group designs. Birthdays, bridal parties, family reunions, graduation crews — I wanted to create pieces that turned ordinary gatherings into unforgettable memories.
Diving into the Print On Demand world wasn’t easy. I spent late nights researching trends, refining designs, studying sizing and fabric quality, and learning everything I could about running an online business. There were mistakes, delays, and lessons learned the hard way — but I never stopped improving.
Slowly, orders started coming in. Then reviews. Then repeat customers. Seeing photos of entire friend groups, families, and bridal squads wearing my designs reminded me exactly why I started.
Today, PartyCoreTees is more than just a shop — it’s part of people’s biggest moments. From “Bride Tribe” weekends to milestone birthdays and family vacations, I’m honored to play a small role in celebrations across the country.
My journey taught me that sometimes the safest path isn’t the most fulfilling one. If you feel that pull toward something creative, something bold — listen to it. Take the leap. Celebrate your ideas. And don’t be afraid to build something that brings joy to others.
Because life is better when it’s celebrated — preferably in matching shirts. 🎉
