Wow this necklace is beautiful, just what I was looking for. The length is just right for wearing with heavier garments, over multiple layers. Your quality of workmanship is excellent. When I need more I will be back. Thank you for the speedy shipping and secure packaging. God bless you.

I attempted to remove the earrings from the paper holder and the button fell right off the earrings post. Edit: The seller immediately contacted me after posting this & offered to send replacements!

They're light, study, the right size, and exactly what I wanted.
Patchwork Jackdaw sells handmade jewellery made from unusual or recycled materials.
The first jewellery I made was a necklace created from my mum's box of mixed vintage buttons in 2005. I've been making button necklaces ever since, and I've also been experimenting with different materials, particularly those that are recycled, or donated to me -- I have a constant supply of fabric from worn out clothes, and I inherited a box of vintage yarns, so I started making these into fabric and yarn necklaces as a way of using the materials.
When I'm not making jewellery I'm usually to be found composing and recording music. I play viola, and having started making a few alto clef themed pieces of jewellery, I now have a second Etsy shop for my alto clef jewellery for musicians. It's at http://www.etsy.com/shop/BlingForStrings .
I also draw, and I have a shop selling cards and prints of my illustrations at https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/violaraptor .

I started making jewellery one day when I opened my mum's button tin and made a necklace from the contents, and I've been making things out of bits and pieces ever since.
