Pathfinder Goods

I love using my hands to create something from nothing. I was a chef for 12 years and then became a house husband for a while!

The idea of making functional items I like and sharing those things with people from all over the world is very satisfying. My products have found their way to all corners of the earth!

I have seen my business grow from nothing, a small idea to now having my own little workshop.

I also have a passion for working with leather, you just can't beat an every day carriable made from beautiful quality leather. Expect lots more leather items soon.

My felt is 100% wool felt and is produced in Spain. Leather is sourced from merchants and tanneries within the UK.

All handmade products are designed, built, photographed and shipped by me from my workshop in Derbyshire, England.

My aim is to deliver a beautiful, simple and minimal high quality product which is highly functional at the same time.

All products are handmade to order by yours truly in my little workshop. Supplies are sourced where possible in the UK.

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Customer Satisfaction is paramount. Life is not perfect and because all items are handmade by me, there may be a missed stitch somewhere, or an uneven edge. This is the world of handmade. I try to photograph perfectly so you get a good idea of what you are getting and so there are no surprises.

If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may return new, unused, and resalable items within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Items should be returned in similar packaging to protect it during shipping. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

If there is a problem with your order that is the result of my error, I will fix it immediately and pay all return and reshipping fees.

Claims on lost packages can be made 45 days after ship date.. Refunds will be issued when insurance claims are filed. If you wish to have a second order shipped, shipping will need to upgraded to a method that offers tracking. When the time lapse between purchase and the insurance claim has exceeded 60 days, a refund cannot be made.

******** WHEN WILL YOUR ORDER SHIP? ********

It's difficult to give an estimate as to when your handmade item will leave my workshop. Workload varies from week to week and items are completed in chronological order. I make everything to order by myself from raw materials and like to have products shipped within a few working days or so but this can be up to a week at busy times like Christmas.

******** SHIPPING WITHIN THE UK ********

All goods are shipped free with Royal Mail 2nd Class and price depends upon the items weight. This does not include tracking but the option to upgrade to tracked and signed can be added at checkout but please note that the TRACKED UPGRADE DOES NOT EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER. You will receive an automated email once dispatched and the tracking number included where applicable.

******** SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UK ********

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail International Standard which are then transferred to and delivered by your own country's postal system (ie. USPS, Postes Canada, Deutsche Post, etc.).

Standard Shipping - International Standard (Formerly 'Airmail'.)
* Applied to all orders unless you choose to upgrade
* DOES NOT HAVE TRACKING (packages are only tracked inside the UK)
* Typically arrives within 7-10 business days but may be subject to custom delays.

Upgraded International Shipping - International Tracked, International Signed or International Tracked & Signed ('Formerly Airsure'.) Availability depends on country.
* You can add upgraded shipping in your shopping cart. Under the item total on the right is a drop down menu. Please choose the upgraded shipping according to where in the world you live but please note that the TRACKED UPGRADE DOES NOT EXPEDITE YOUR ORDER.
* Includes tracking to most destinations.
* Typically arrives in 7-10 business days (not guaranteed, but typical.)
* Adds £3-5 to cost of standard shipping.

**Due to a number of items going missing to RUSSIA, I must insist upon 'Signed For' to that country. It's expensive but I must insist**

******** CUSTOMS FEES ********

International (Non-EU) customers may be subject to fees by their own government for importing goods and you are responsible for paying any fees applicable.

Item will not be marked 'Gift' and the true cost of the item will be displayed on the customs declaration form. Contact your post office or government for information on customs fees and any import duties before buying please. You will be emailed when your order ships and provided a tracking number if applicable.

Any returned item not collected from Customs (refusal to pay import charges) a refund will be issued minus original shipping cost once it is returned.

All my products are made to order and are made in the order they arrive. I attempt to get your order out as quick as possible.

Should the felt get any marks on it, I recommend trying to remove them with a damp cloth.
