PattiPushCarts was opened in 2011 after a lifetime of collecting treasures. The name actually stems from my childhood nickname because I would never be without my baby cart. I would fill it not with traditional toys for little girls, but rather the treasures I found hidden in the world around me. Sea Shells, crystals of all types and shapes, sea glass, costume jewelry and dress up clothing were all fair game because in my mind I could put them together in wonderful new ways that were infinitely more interesting that just a plain old baby doll.
Now since retiring from nursing, I am free to create whatever comes to mind.

I began to create Victorian, Shabby, and BoHo lampshades. Each lampshade takes several weeks to create and I use a combination of fabrics that are lovingly embellished and hand sewn.
The T.V. Show, "Hawaii 5-0" purchased several of my lampshades for one of their episodes. That was a real honor for me. I also love to create Crystal Wind Chimes using many types of shapes and size. If it sparkles, I love it!
