☆Why use a log book☆
There is something so wonderful about writing things down and documenting your life. I always feel on top of things when I do this. I wanted to also apply this to my diabetes management. So, I created Plott it Out. Not only to develop Life Changing Stationery, but out of complete frustration. I could never find health focused recording stationery that was relevant to my needs. I tried numerous diabetes log books, record keeping templates and phone apps, but they just did not fit. Not to mention they visually weren’t appealing and did not inspire me to use them. I wanted to develop something that was not only practical, but could contribute and even improve my overall diabetes management. As we all know, managing diabetes is exhausting. So I wanted this log book to be a positive addition to managing diabetes and not just another thing to think about, carry around, or fill-in.

☆How to use the Plott It Out log books☆
The idea of the book is to use it daily, but sometimes you might only use it to get back on track, and that’s also ok. You then take this little beauty to your doctor appointments, to help those wonderful people in your care team – like your Endocrinologist, Diabetes Educator and Dietitian, to find patterns and develop understandings about your diabetes. As well as to avoid the dreaded question “tell be about your BGL’s here, what did you eat?” – Umm, that was two weeks ago, does anyone remember what they ate at morning tea two weeks ago! All this, will inevitably lead your amazing care team to make important changes to keep you within your targets.
