Vintage with a touch of VaVa Voom ....

My name is Tanya and I been selling vintage textiles online since 1999. A lover of vintage since the mid 1980s I first fell in love with vintage textiles in the early 90s and found my first precious piece for £1 at a jumble sale. I was walking home from work and saw the most wonderful 1950s curtains slung over a wall at a garage sale. It was love at first sight. There were two pieces but I could only afford one, having just £1 in my purse. I had to make a decision and this piece then started my love of textiles which exists to this day.

I started buying and selling fabrics in 1999, before the days of Paypal when buying or selling fabrics online meant sending payment wrapped in tinfoil. After our relocation to France I continued to sell textiles, adding glorious French fabrics to my growing stash.

I ran Pomme de Jour from my home in the south of France for 7 years but have recently relocated to London, Uk. My Etsy shop was launched in 2008, I had a couple of years break from selling when I moved to France and my 4 children were younger but soon missed my passion and now I am back at it.

Everything is lovingly and locally sourced from vide greniers and flea markets.
My ethos is to provide vintage that is not only unique and beautiful but affordable.
In the Boutique you will find original French vintage fabrics, faded florals, antique textiles, shabby and Boho chic items. Antique ephemera and vintage sewing and craft supplies. French vintage that has lived a life, time worn beauties, lovingly sourced at Vide Greniers and Flea markets.

Contact me directly if you are looking for a fabric in particular, I have a large stock.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1) Where is my parcel?

Firstly most orders arrive within good time and there are no issues. However, shipping from the UK can sometimes be long. Please note a good case scenario is that a package from the UK can arrive within the scheduled time, up to or within 2 weeks. This is the norm and mostly the case but it has also been known to arrive in less than a week or in up to 6 weeks ! Don't panic if your parcel is the worst case scenario, it will eventually arrive. I stress that this is rare but can sometimes happen. Contact me with more information on this.

2) Can I have additional photos sent by email?

I try to accurately describe my vintage items, but I am always happy to answer further questions and send additional photographs. I often have more of something or similar tucked away, as my stocks are huge. So please email me if you would like to know something or need anything in particular. I am happy to help and look through my large stock.

3) Do you gift wrap?

I am happy to offer gift wrapping and gift messages. Please contact me with any special request and I will do my best to fulfill it.
