De creatieve kracht achter Pygmalion FX volgt haar passie voor Special Effects make-up al meer dan 15 jaar in de Haunted Attraction-industrie in Salt Lake City, Utah en Boise, Idaho. Na het oktoberseizoen in 2012 was ze vastbesloten om met mijn talenten een plons te maken in de filmindustrie. Om van haar passie voor schepsel, karakter en gore make-up een succesvol bedrijf te maken.
De kunstenaar achter Pygmalion FX is werkzaam geweest in de theatrale, televisie-, film- en podiumkunstenindustrie en het aanbrengen en ontwerpen van make-up, van het fantastische tot het gorey.
De eigenaar, Lesli Spencer, volgt een Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater Design aan de Universiteit van Utah, met de nadruk op haar en make-up, en verwacht in 2017 af te studeren. Ze is enthousiast om te beginnen met het ontwerpen en stylen van aangepaste pruiken en postiches, evenals gezichtshaar zoals wenkbrauwen, snorren en baarden. Momenteel zijn onze protheses gemaakt van een slip of slush mask vloeibare latex. Die is zwaarder, en minder rekbaar en gevend dan schuimlatex apparaten. De komende maanden gaan we aan de slag met schuimlatex, en nog later siliconen apparaten. Vloeibare latex apparaten zijn vergelijkbaar met gelatine apparaten in gewicht, maar zal niet oplossen met hitte of water stress.
We raden aan om de lijm te gebruiken, te verkopen in de winkel of een medische lijm, zoals Prosaide, om de prothetische apparaten op de huid te hechten. Spirit Gum kan ook als lijm worden gebruikt, maar velen vinden het meer irriterend voor de huid. Het apparaat kan worden verwijderd door het van de huid te trekken, maar we raden een lijmverwijderaar aan zoals degene die in de winkel wordt verkocht of een andere zoals Telesis of minerale spiritus. Vermijd het krijgen van deze producten in de ogen, neus of mond.
Inbegrepen bij uw aankoop zijn instructies voor het aanbrengen van uw nieuwe apparaat en het ook verwijderen.

After the October haunt season in 2012, she was determined to make a splash in the film industry with my talents. To make her passion for creature, character, and gore makeup into a successful business.
The artist behind Pygmalion FX have been employed in the theatrical, television, film, and performing arts industries applying and designing makeup, from the fantastical to the gorey.
The Owner, Lesli Spencer, is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater Design at the University of Utah, emphasizing in Hair and Makeup, expecting to graduate in 2017. She is excited to begin designing and styling custom wigs and postiches, as well as facial hair such as eyebrows, mustaches and beards. Once confident in her abilities, you may be certain such products available in the shop.
By purchasing items from Pygmalion FX you will support our ability to bring you more of the products you love. We enjoy receiving custom requests, and with the increased interest in the artistic integrity of our shop, we are about two months out for completion of current custom items.
Currently our prosthetics are made of a slip or slush mask liquid latex. Which is heavier, and less stretchy and giving than foam latex appliances. Within the next few months we will be working in foam latex, and even later silicone appliances. Liquid latex appliances are similar to gelatine appliances in weight, but will not dissolve with heat or water stress.
We recommend using the adhesive, sell in the shop or a medical adhesive, such as Prosaide, to adhere the prosthetic appliances to the skin. Spirit Gum may be used as an adhesive as well, but many find it more irritating to the skin. The appliance can be removed by pulling it from the skin, but we recommend an adhesive remover like the one sold in the shop or another such as Telesis, or mineral spirits. Please avoid getting these products in the eyes, nose, or mouth.
Included with your purchase will be instructions for how to apply your new appliance and remove it as well.
