But the friendly messages from Su and the wonderful wrapping and attention to detail of the package really made the whole purchase very special indeed. 5 out of 5 starsWhat a wonderful experience. Su was incredibly helpful, friendly, accommodating and immediately responsive to all queries. The quality and finish of her jewellery is impeccable - the originality and sheer gorgeousness of her pieces is obvious from the photos and a delight once you see them in real life! The ring I bought for my friend’s 50th is perfect and loved. I will certainly be returning to choose another piece (or two …) just hopefully for me next time!

Sue has been very accommodating and wonderful to work with. I will definitively visit her shop again. Thank you very much!

Quercus Silver, modern silver and resin jewellery made in Bath
I started Quercus Silver on Etsy in 2008 and have been working as a professional jeweller and selling my work here ever since. My jewellery story is about finding a balance.
I trained as a jeweller in Bath, starting when my children were young. I was lucky and found a craft that I love where I can work for myself and be around for my family when they need me.
For some years I worked from my home in the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. I built a shed in the garden. I grew my business online and became part of the Etsy community.
When I finished college I moved into a new workshop to work as a full-time jeweller.
I am a member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, The Crafts Council, The Association for Contemporary Jewellery and Make Southwest. You can find my work in selected galleries and exhibitions across the UK.
By the way, I chose "Quercus Silver" because, as you probably know, Quercus is Latin for oak and I am very tall and grounded with a lifelong love of trees.

Care instructions
About your resin jewellery:
Resin starts out as a liquid polyester. I add a catalyst and high quality ground artists pigments. Each piece is made over 3 days. It is cured, sanded and polished to a durable finish
To keep it looking at its best, occasionally wash silver or resin jewellery with a little warm soapy water using a soft brush, rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid prolonged immersion in the water. Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals such as perfume, acetone or chlorine and abrasives.
Sizing details
HOW DO I FIND MY RING SIZE?
As most of my rings are difficult to re-size it is important to get this right. Your local High Street jeweller should measure your ring size free of charge.
HOW DO I CONVERT TO UK SIZES?
I list my rings in UK sizes. You can ask me or you could use an online converter eg. http://www.onlineconversion.com/ring_size.htm
