5 out of 5 starsOrdered 2 pairs of the larger sizes available. Not for shelves, but to support the front panels of some very heavy "open baffle" high fidelity speakers. The brackets were just what was needed for my project. I removed the protective wax coating with mineral spirits and sprayed them with hammered finish type paint. Very satisfied.

Care instructions
To prolong the life of our handmade copper products we recommend cleaning when required using lukewarm water on a damp, well wrung-out lint free cloth. Also, the use of a soft-bristled toothbrush can be used for the removal of dirt trapped in the knurling or grooves. Once clean, ensure to thoroughly dry with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to the base of the stem of the product.
We strongly advise never to use commercial chemical or abrasive cleaning products on any QuirkHub products, including antibacterial cleaners. These will remove the protective coating and the product may become damaged, possibly changing the appearance as a result.

Will Your Copper Items Tarnish
Frequently, it is desired to preserve the original salmon or gold tones of copper surfaces. This can be achieved by applying clear protective coatings. The coatings create a barrier and prevent the further oxidation of copper. However, as with any coating, degradation over time will require the replacement of the clear coating. Please ensure the products are cleaned as per our instructions above.
