About RBrutonTEXTILEART

Sales 1,294
On Etsy since 2018

I am a textile fibre artist based in a small market town in South Somerset, UK. I specialise in free motion embroidery and appliqué to create my intricate artwork. Textiles is my passion; it was sparked by my grandmother and her magical treasure trove of fabrics and haberdashery that always fascinated me as a child.

I studied BA Hons Fine Art Sculpture and a PGCE in Art Education at Bath Spa University. As well as creating my own artwork I teach a range of workshops and courses to share my passion and enthusiasm with others.

Frequently asked questions
Print Info

Prints
All of my prints are printed on high-quality Giclee art paper, usually around 300gsm in weight. They are digital prints. I try to make sure that colours match as closely as they appear on your screen but obviously due to material variation and print processing, images may differ slightly.

My prints are best framed to keep the print in the best condition possible. Framing behind glass reduces fading and damage to the print.

Greetings Cards
All of my greetings card are printed on high quality card stock. The inside of the card is blank for your own message. I try to make sure that colours match as closely as they appear on your screen but obviously due to material variation and print processing, images may differ slightly.

Packaging

Prints
Prints will sometimes remain rolled after they have been removed from the postage tube. In order to flatten ready for display lay the print on a flat surface with a few heavy books on top. After a day or two, the print will be ready to frame. Please do not try and roll the print in the opposite direction as this will result in damage.

Greetings Card
Greetings cards will be posted to you in a protective envelope.

Custom & Personalised Orders

If you are interested in a bespoke commission please do contact me through the 'request custom order' button. I'll get back to you as soon as I can to discuss your awesome idea!

Original Artworks

My original artworks are best framed to keep the thread and fabric in the best condition possible. Framing behind glass reduces fading and damage to the art. Original artworks are normally A3 standard framing size but do check the product description to make sure.
