My goal is to create pieces of pottery and illustrated works that are light-hearted and joyful whilst carrying and expressing important messages that provide encouragement, gentle reminders and/or offer positive affirmations to their owners in the hope of brightening their day and offering reassurance.

I'm inspired by graphic illustration, children’s surface pattern design and my own experiences with mental health and chronic illness which have whole-heartedly changed my life.

I first put my hands in clay when I signed up to 'beginners pottery' evening class in late 2016 whilst caring for my dad during his terminal illness. I can honestly say, looking back, that ceramics was a form of therapy that kept me sane during one of the most difficult times of my life and I've loved creating things out of clay ever since. My business soon progressed and I also began creating illustrations which also become vehicles to drive through messages of the importance of self care and positive mental wellness.

I have a great love for the cute, the colourful and the characterful- all characteristics that I try to inject into my ceramic makes along with a playful charm and childlike quality.
