I am passionate about designing artworks inspired by nature and wildlife.

I work from a little studio in my home in Lancaster, with a manic black labrador for company!

I spend most of my time working as an illustrator licensing artworks for print on a variety of products including stationary, books, cards, and home-ware.

I love to explore new crafts and over the last few years found myself drawn to the process of needle felting. There is something about the way you can turn a flat drawing into a sculpture and the way wool can be moulded that I find fascinating.

As a child we did a lot of travelling as a family and I was lucky enough to live in many different countries. I was born in the uk, then moved to America for a few years, then I spent several of my early school years in Japan. I later went to high school in Ireland.

After school I studied for an Illustration Degree at Falmouth College of Arts and loved it there, plenty of inspiration from the beautiful coastal landscape. It was
here that I developed my illustrative style.

I often find that my felt sculptural work work feeds new ideas into my illustrations and vice versa which is a great way to keep myself inspired.

It is important to me that the merino wool I use for felting is ethically sourced (from non-mulsed sheep) I source most of my wool from small farms around Lancashire and Cumbria.

I accept commissions for both sculptures and paintings, and am happy to work from photos. I will contact you to discuss your wishes and then work with you ensure your are happy with your artwork at each stage of the process.

Thanks for taking the time to visit.

Please call back soon as am busy designing new creations :-)
