Finally had a spare few hours this afternoon to list some lovely bits and pieces - still so much more to list, need more of those hours :)
Yesterday I decided to sort through my unlisted stock - it's becoming a major mission to find places to store it around the house, so I've sorted a massive cupboard purely for the shop. Here are some bits nearly ready to go live!

My Story So Far........

Hi, I'm Emma :)
I opened Raspberry Mint Vintage in July 2014, so this is a relatively new venture for me. I've always had a passion for vintage clothing. I remember my friends teasing me for wearing my mother's old 70's bomber jacket back in highschool - but I never really cared or concerned myself with their opinions and just enjoyed feeling individual and comfortable in my own choices. Vintage homewares for me, came about a lot later - and over the past 5-6 years, I've transformed my 3 bedroom town house into a elective cave full of pretty items I've thrifted from all over the place.. I live in a large Suffolk town in the UK, which is about 70 miles north of London with my hubby and 3 kiddie-winkles. I've also been writing a vintage lifestyle blog called 'Dear Thirty' for 2 years.

I opened Raspberry Mint Vintage initially because I had too many clothes, like most women I guess! I needed to find that extra space and I had so many lovely pieces that I just don't wear for whatever reason, so I began by selling them here. Since then, I can't help but thrift more things for the shop - I suppose it's an addiction ;)

Obviously I do my very best to ensure all items listed here on Raspberry Mint are accurately described and stated, but if I have missed something, or you have an additional question, please do get in touch.

Please bear in mind: vintage items have been preloved and adored for many years; I am not selling 'new' items. With this in mind, I will always state any imperfections - if any - on the items listing.

I will try to give as many measurements as possible on an item - there is nothing more annoying than buying a stunning dress and hoping/praying it'll fit - I want you to feel confident when purchasing your items from Raspberry Mint.

If you require any more information on an item, I will do my best where possible to help or answer questions you might have.

Obviously if you are unsatisfied with your item and the blame lays with me (ie: incorrect measurements, damaged item due to poor packaging etc) then please send me a message and I'll be happy to help you where I can.


I happily offer a 14 day no quibble, no questions asked, worldwide returns policy here at Raspberry Mint, please read the guidelines below before making a purchase:

General Returns:
* If you wish to return an item/s because you have changed your mind about them for some reason, then that's not a problem. Please drop me a convo here on Etsy (within the 14 day period) to state you have posted returning items back. Please not: I will refund your initial purchase price only, not the outgoing shipping/P&P costs - you will be refunded within 30 days of me receiving the returned item back.
* Refunds are given only as long as item is received in the same condition as when I shipped it to you. Items that are returned in a condition other than that in which they were sent out are not eligible for refunds.
* Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer, and all returns should be sent with a tracking number of some sort (such as delivery confirmation or insurance.)
* Customers who return items without a tracking number do so at their own risk; items that are lost or damaged during return shipping are solely the buyer's responsibility.

Damaged Items:

* If there is a something wrong with any item you purchase from me, a full refund of your original purchase price, original shipping and returning postage costs will be credited back to you within 30 days of receipt of returned item.
* If an item is unfortunately damaged during shipment, in order to facilitate an insurance claim and refund I will require the following information via email: A written claim/description of damage, as well as photos of same. This must be received within 7 days of the buyer receiving damaged goods.

Lost Items:

Occasionally Royal Mail kindly loses my parcels, very annoying and completely out of my control. Unfortunately, this does happen sometimes, and whilst annoying and frustrating at both ends, Royal Mail insists on a 'wait period'. Therefore any parcel not received by you, the customer cannot be deemed lost until 30 days has passed from date the parcel was posted. In which case, I can claim from Royal Mail and refund fully. Luckily 99.9% of the time the parcels eventually turn up. I will always advise customers to refuse the parcel if it arrives late and they no longer want the item - then the parcel will eventually be returned to me, then I can issue a refund.
I offer combined postage on all my items here at Raspberry Mint, however - due to the differences in shipping profiles and weight on various items it can be tricky to combine.........however If you'd like a rough estimation on postage especially if you want to buy tracked/signed for items (on all items over £20) then send me a message and I'll do my best to estimate this for you. Any overpaid postage by the customer will be refunded back promptly!

If you require an item to be RESERVED: I will hold it for a standard 48 hours only. Unless payment has been made in this time, the item will then be released for sale again.
I will always aim to dispatch your item asap, but please allow up to 3 working days for dispatch after your payment has been processed. I will always mark your item as: "dispatched" on etsy for your reassurance.

I offer worldwide shipping on all products in my shop - please be aware that once I've handed your parcel over to the post office, I have no control of the time it'll take to arrive at your door. Generally speaking most items will arrive promptly to your location; This said, please allow up to 3-4 weeks for international deliveries.

More expensive items (over £20.00) will always be sent recorded/signed for and will require a signature on delivery. Please check your etsy account for the tracking info once marked dispatched.

Raspberry Mint wishes to remind all overseas customers to be aware of international postal charges and that our prices do not include VAT, duties or customs fees. These are the responsibility of the buyer.
Additional policies and FAQs
All items come from a smoke-free, cat-free home and my black labrador Harrison isn't allowed near any of my stock ( I do my best.........I promise) - please do bear this in mind if you have allergies.

All garments are steam cleaned and/or machine washed prior to listing.

If any repair work on a garment is to be undertaken; I will always use vintage cottons for sewing when possible.

Please be aware all garments are measured and listed using UK sizing. Also remember to check the measurements carefully before ordering to avoid disappointment.
