Video summary: Hi! This timelapse video shows the process of creating the "Forest Floor" coaster set. I am layering up frit (tiny chips of glass) onto a sheet of glass to form the designs for the coasters, ready to be fired in a kiln.

Glass Artist based in North East London.

I make handcrafted fused glass objects and accessories for the interior and garden. My current collections are inspired by my surrounding environment, the colour and light of Britain's spring and summertime, and my travels, specifically on the vivid and jewel-like colours of Iceland's otherworldly and elemental landscape. I am a visual researcher, photographing landscapes and details of the natural world, and translate these into glass creations. I create rich textural surfaces by meticulously arranging frit to build up colour, shade, and tone, like a painter forming a painting, focusing on colour, abstraction, and mark-making.

A selection of my pieces are stocked in Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, Cwmbran, South East Wales, and Chalk's Gallery, Lymington, Hampshire.
