After wondering about these earrings for years and years, I finally ordered them and couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Rosie!

We unfortunately returned the item we bought as my daughter felt the design didn't suit her hand. So no fault of this shop in fact they were friendly and efficient from the beginning and had no problem us returning their item. Great service!

I couldn’t love my ring more than I do! After spending months trying to find the perfect wedding ring I found it! I’ll never ever grow out of love with this ring.

I bought a scroll stud stacking ring in turquoise green with gold vermeil to go with a summer dress and I love it! It literally goes with almost everything. I can stack it with other textured or plain bands on either side, for more of a statement / layered look, or wear it on its own as a delicate classy little piece. I can't wait to get some matching earring studs (& probably more stackers!) :-) Thanks!
From Visual Anthropologist to Renaissance Rebel!
The Renaissance Rebel Co. is born out of my passion for the history of decorative arts, an anarchic London upbringing and an obsession with contemporary fashion, combined with a burning desire to create beautifully crafted limited edition luxury jewellery, that utilises traditional craft skills.
The new Art Lover Collection is inspired by original 'It Girl' and illustrious 18th century French courtesan, Madame du Pompadour and her passion for collecting Sevres porcelain. I spent many hours at The Wallace Collection Museum in London researching the world’s finest examples and her amazing creative legacy. This limited edition collection offers contemporary style adventurers a range of colourful statement pieces and tiny trinkets brought to life using traditional hand carving and forging techniques, as well as exquisitely delicate enamel work.
Drawing from my background in visual anthropology, I am fascinated by the process of communicating something extremely modern through historical motifs, materials and processes. Notably, the Renaissance Rebel Co. collections predominently feature scroll motifs, as enduring and potent symbols of opulence, femininity and power passed down through the ages. It is my hope that my pieces invoke a few of these talismanic qualities for those who wear them for years to come. Because I only ever produce small batches I am able to continually develop new ideas and collections for you!
After training as a professional jeweller in 2009, I went on to win the UK Jewellery Awards 'New Designer of the Year' 2015 title, as well as the British Jewellers Association ‘Cocktail Rings on the Catwalk’ Award in 2014. That same year I became a Member of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths in London.
