Hello and welcome to my Etsy shop!
I am Rhian the lady behind 'Rhian Kate', a contempory jewellery designer and maker based in South Wales .
After leaving university in 2016 I decided to take the plunge of becoming my own boss putting the skills I had learnt to good use- making unique hand crafted pieces of jewellery.
All the jewellery is made and designed by myself, to make the jewellery there is a couple of different process used to make the jewellery such as laser cutting, melting, casting, soldiering to name a few.
The materials used to make the jewellery include- Silver, pewter, acrylic, brass and copper. By using a mix of materials makes for unique and interning designs.
The pewter pieces all have a texture that is completely unique to each piece so there's no two of the same which is pretty special.
What is the inspiration behind the jewellery? The moon's texture, the moon itself, the solar system and geometric shapes.
