5 out of 5 starsLovely earrings. I've very pleased with them and the fastening is not uncomfortable like some earrings for unpierced ears.

Jewellery inspired by history
My name is Lynne. I run Rose Bay Jewellery from a lovely rural part of the UK in an area steeped in history. The sea is very close by and the Vikings landed near here, Thomas Becket died near here, and there are many castles, Roman ruins, ancient sites and so on - and enough historical stories to keep you going till Domesday.
Perhaps not surprisingly, I love history. It's not so much the big dates, the battles and so forth – for me, it's more to do with how people lived. How did they manage their daily lives? What did they wear? And yes (you were wondering when I was getting to this, I'm sure) what jewellery did they wear?
I have always been interested in the fashions of bygone ages, and jewellery in particular. Here on Etsy I am – mostly! - focussing on the Celtic/Viking to Edwardian timelines with the odd foray into whatever era my muddled creative mind decides to delve into. The Victorian age is especially rich in inspiration, with its Bohemian freedom, Renaissance elegance and the fantasy of Steampunk, to name but a few.
Come in and have a poke around – you never know what you might dig up!
