My stitching story so far...

Based in rural South Derbyshire Rosie is inspired by British Wildlife. Rosie uses illustrations and photographs from wildlife guide books to observe and create her art featuring wildlife such as hares, foxes, pheasants and stages. As well as botanical studies of wild flowers, garden veg and insects. She hopes this theme will appeal to a wide range of people such as bird watchers and gardeners who share her love of nature.

While creating artwork that is accurate and realistic is important, Rosie still has a distinct style developed from her unique technique. Combining fabric painting and detailed free machine embroidery has allowed her to create contemporary artwork which is tactile and colourful.
