An end to waste

I began to get really worried about the amount my family threw away when the bin collections went fortnightly instead of weekly. Two weeks of 'recyclables' accumulating in a wheelie bin under my window drove home to me just how much plastic, metal and paper we were generating and the thing was, I thought I was REALY careful about our consumption.

I researched and learned that a lot of so-called recyclable material ends up in landfill anyway (too dirty, too hard to separate etc.) so what good was I doing moving my mountain of waste from the landfill bin to the recyclable one? It was time to get into re-usables and ditch my 'throw-it-out' mentality.

Six months later I'm closer to zero waste (still a long way to go though!) and I'm ready to share some of the tried and tested upcycle and sustainable alternatives I've found with you. So here's to a greener home and a trash free planet!

Returns and exchange details
If you are in any way unhappy with your item please let me know within fourteen days of receiving your delivery and I'll do my best to make it right for you.

If the item is damaged simply let me know that you need a return and post it back within 14 days of contact (buyer pays return postage). As soon as I've got it I'll refund your purchase price and initial basic postage.

If you simply don't want to keep the item you need to return it in a saleable condition - this means that the tags and packaging are intact. As before just let me know that it's on it's way and post back to me (buyer pays return postage.)
Payment
Payment is in full at the time of ordering.

I am happy to accept a cancellation but as I dispatch daily please request it within four hours of ordering or I cannot guarantee that your item will not have shipped.
Delivery
UK orders are sent 2nd Class with a delivery estimate of 2-3 working days from dispatch.

INTERNATIONAL orders are sent via International Standard (untracked) unless the tracking upgrade is purchased. Items usually take 10 working days to arrive but can take up to six weeks depending on destination (I'm looking at you, Canada!)

Occasionally Customs will cause a slight further delay however this is not normally the case. In cases where customs cause a delay this should only be a short time and is unfortunately beyond my control.

Please check if there are custom or import fees in your country as these fees (usually low) are not part of the purchase price. Thank you for understanding.

I use paper based packaging and shipping products without any plastic fillers, laminates or bleaches. You can recycle or compost them as facilities are available to you.
