Based in the small West country town of Malmesbury. Rust and Rot resides in an old donkey shed, by the river, in the shadow of an ancient Abbey. Surrounded by beauty and history its no surprise that Rust and Rot has a passion for the dustier and flakier things in life.
At Rust and Rot we buy wonderful things, that we sympathetically restore. We feel the items offered should be attractive, useful or interesting and to be honest, should be all three. We specialise in decorative antiques, industrial pieces, the unique and the strange, vintage lighting, beautiful mirrors, etc. Basically anything I see that I would like to have in my house, (If it wasn't full of wonderful things already).
Rust and Rot is a low carbon business. As well as all our stock obviously being rescued and reused, our workshop is very low energy with led lighting and scrap wood heating, all our power comes only from green renewables. Our packing boxes are reused moving boxes and we are a collection point for unwanted packing materials that we then recycle. The land outside the workshop is a wildlife garden, where we get very distracted and drink coffee.
