Welcome to my Aladdins cave of handmade jewellery. As an artist I love colour and designing and creating individual and unique jewellery using the highest quality materials. I always use sterling silver and genuine gemstones which are ethically sourced from reliable suppliers. I make anything that interests me from birthstone earrings with silver, imprinted from 380 million year old rocks to silver and gold puffins. My jewellery is all handmade by myself and sometimes there will only be a few of a particular item. Many of the gemstones I use are natural which adds charm and character. My Inspiration
As a child I fell in love with a large gemstone my father had. Its aqueous colour and the way it sparkled in the light captivated me and I still feel that same delight when working with gemstones today.
Trained in Fine Art I am a self taught jewellery designer and maker based in the lovely coastal town of Torquay. I love nature and detail and get lots of inspiration from the surrounding beaches. Every day I try to have a sea swim and coastal walk, weather permitting.
I started making jewellery when I was a carer for my mum. She introduced me to a local shop selling beads and from there I discovered gemstones which became my palette of bright, sparkly paint colours. I made bracelets and earrings and then came across recycled silver clay which I love because of its versitility. To me its important to use my creativity to make all sorts of different jewellery pieces.
I look every where for inspiration and my puffin passion came from a stay on Skomer Island in Wales which led to my puffin pendents in gold and silver.
I use ethically sourced high quality materials and I like using natural gemstones when I can because of their character.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY ?
All jewellery is sent with high quality soft satin gift pouches which will keep it bright, shiny and tarnish free for longer.
Tarnishing is a natural process with all silver through contact with air and light.
If you are not wearing your jewellery regularly, to prevet tarnishing place the jewellery in the tarnish resistant bag provided and then put that in a plastic bag in a dark drawer.
Avoid cosmetics including perfumes, sprays moisturisers and sun creams.
Avoid wearing jewellery for sports or high impact activities and remove before sleeping and showering.
*Please note my jewellery is not intended for children and should be stored out of reach of children to avoid risk of swallowing.
