Fine art painter of wildlife, pets and big noses!
I remember winning my first drawing competition at school age 10 and becoming the proud recipient of a very nice set of drawings pencils! It's become a bit of an addiction and since then I've more often than not had a pencil or paintbrush in my hand.
Most weekends I can be found wandering the beautiful Scottish countryside with my two whippets finding inspiration in the surrounding wildlife and transferring this onto canvas or pebbles in my studio at home. I paint using acrylics, a vibrant and quick drying medium.
I produce original works of art as well as developing an ongoing range of greetings cards, prints and other items, which I sell in galleries and shops around the Borders as well as in my online shop.
Recently, my art has developed a humorous twist and it makes me smile every day to pick up a paintbrush and paint the weird and wonderful expressions that animals exhibit.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work, hopefully some pieces may even make you giggle!
Please do contact me if there is anything in particular you would like to know.
