Please bear in mind that postal services may be slower than usual at this difficult time, and allow some extra time for delivery - I'll endeavour to get items out to you as quickly as possible by the quickest service available, but can't currently offer a tracked service option. Official last posting dates have passed for most of the world. For UK delivery if you want to have a chance of receiving items before Christmas, please order by 4pm on Friday 18th so I can get things out to you that afternoon and on their way a little earlier than the official last posting date. https://www.royalmail.com/christmas/last-posting-dates
Hand-made beadwork using mainly beadweaving with some bead embroidery, beadweaving tutorials and materials packs, supplies for my tutorials and hand made cabochons. Bead-weaving is slow, patient work with each tiny glass bead individually stitched together - a lot of love (and back-ache) goes into these pieces, tutorials and packs and I hope you like them.
Did you know that postage on additional items in my shop is usually only 50p extra (£1 overseas), and for smaller items like cabochons and individual packs of beads it's free? So you can buy more items without the postage charges getting silly - maybe pick up extra supplies like tiny drop beads or unique cabochons.
You can learn more about my work by visiting www.theindecisivebeader.com, where you can view a gallery of my works, tutorials, full materials lists and read my beady blog. You can also follow me on Facebook (search ‘Indecisive Beader’) or on Instagram (@theindecisivebeader) so you can see what I’m working on and know when I’m launching new patterns.

5 out of 5 starsLooks like a good set of directions. I'm waiting for the bead pack to arrive from UK. It will arrive whenever it arrives during this crazy period. I'm looking forward to making the project.

About SarahCryerBeadwork

I hand paint and assemble my own beautiful and unique cabochons, which I sell here and use myself for bead embroidery.
-
Beadweaving takes thousands of tiny beads and stitches them together one at a time to produce beautiful shapes and forms
-
I can bead anywhere - all I need is a needle and thread, a soft board, and lots of beautiful tiny beads.
-
I love choosing beads - my materials packs come from my own stash and I spend ages selecting......
One bead at a time........
I've been using beads to make jewellery for many years, and around 10 years ago I discovered beadweaving and an occasional hobby became an obsession. Time for beading is limited, with a lively 7 year old and even livelier 4 year old, but this shop gives me an excuse to find the time.
Custom orders of most of the items shown including cabochons are available - any size and most colours (subject to availability of materials), please message me to discuss prices and timings. And I'm open to commissions of any other beadwoven pieces - please just ask.
For the beadweavers out there I also offer tutorials for a range of beadweaving projects using a variety of techniques, all designed by me. The instructions include diagrams, photos and full written steps. Also included are sample colour schemes and other suggested variations, along with materials lists which include suggested sources for any unusual items. Instructions for downloading your tutorial will be sent to you by Etsy as soon as they detect a cleared payment.
Materials packs offer you all of the beads needed to make one of my beadweaving projects, plus any other vital items like the plastic tape measures for my Baroque Tape Measure Surround. Please note that the tutorials are not included with the Materials Packs (unless otherwise stated), neither are thread, needles etc (as I find every beader prefers a different combination of brands and sizes, and usually has plenty of both anyway).
Component packs offer the hard to find items for my bead embroidered projects - like the Materials packs they don’t include the tutorial (which must be purchased separately), needle or thread, and also don’t include beads - that’s because the designs I make them for use beads in very small quantities, so you’d end up paying silly amounts for me to measure out and pack them, when you probably already have something suitable in your stash.
A much wider range of finished pieces is available for UK buyers in my Folksy shop (www.folksy.com/shops/somanybeads). And if you'd like to learn more about how I bead and why, have a look at my blog The Indecisive Beader (www.theindecisivebeader.com).

Frequently asked questions
Can I make things to sell using a tutorial I've purchased from you?
As a beader who designs and sells largely to support my own out of control bead buying habit, you may make from my tutorials to sell (in small quantities only) so you can buy lots more beads (and tutorials), but please ensure you give me full credit as designer.
Please do respect my rights as a designer and do not pass finished pieces off as your own design, teach the design, or reproduce this tutorial or the images in it in any way. If you’re in any way tempted to be naughty then think about how long it took me to devise and develop this design, including how many times I had to unpick and rework it (not to mention how long it took me to learn how to use the software to make the lovely clear tutorial diagrams). Thank you!
How are your items sent?
Tutorials - are downloaded by you via Etsy's download service - Etsy will send you a mail with instructions once you've paid.
Finished Beadwork & Materials Packs - are sent Royal Mail (UK delivery) standard 1st Class Postage unless stated otherwise for that specific item, or Air Mail (International)
If you would prefer a signed for service or a faster service please convo me BEFORE making a purchase - I can't always get to the Post Office (as I also have a normal job and two children), and I'd hate for you to be disappointed, but I'm more than happy to oblige if I can.
