Sarah Makes Stuff is me Sarah Dowling!
Hello!
I am a Bristol based Uk Artist and Illustrator and have been making and selling my own artwork and illustrations for just over a year! I've been working in 'The Arts' the last 5 years as a prop maker and scenic artist for theatre shows but decided a year ago I wasn't getting to make enough of my own work- So I started!
My work is inspired lots by my travels, I love nature and the creature that fill it. Mainly I love to draw things that I find interesting and I love to use collage and texture, I put newsprint and brown paper in my illustration to build up layers, or I'll experiment with different inks and dribbles to see what comes out- then I'll work into the drawing with more details!
