** FINAL UK CHRISTMAS ORDERING DATES!!! Please order by Thursday 16th December 2021 to stand any chance of your order arriving before the big day. I aim to post either the same business day or the next at the latest so any delays after that are down to Royal Mail and at the moment, due to the current situation, the delivery time estimated by Etsy may not be accurate, as Royal Mail is experiencing delays in delivering post. If you need something by a particular date please get in touch before ordering so that I can create a Special Delivery shipping option. This will be at an extra cost. Thanks for your patience! Christmas posting to the USA has closed but I will be happy to send any orders there on the understanding that they won't be there before the Holiday season. Emma x**
I am an avid collector and peruser of 20th century design, especially textiles and printed ephemera, and in my London studio I combine this with my love of sewing and creating to produce lovely things to give and use. Sustainability is important to me: although we love to gift and own new things, in this era of 'peak stuff' I refashion what already exists, and try to leave as little waste as I can. Whatever remains, I recycle where possible.

5 out of 5 starsI ordered these book marks to send to my best friend who I haven’t seen in nearly two years due to lockdown. Emma went over and above by sending a note in with the book marks for me. Thank you Emma, my friend thought they were beautiful and had put one away to deliver in person to me in August 😍

A great example of my ethos: denim comes from my apron offcuts; the patterned fabric is an upcycled 1950s cushion cover

Every scrap used: these keyfobs are made with pieces that would otherwise be thrown away
Vintage-inspired goods for contemporary living
I love making, and I love collecting fabrics, china and ephemera from the mid 20th century. There are so many fabulous old textiles out there it's a shame to waste them and I take great joy in creating lovely things for people to treasure and enjoy for many years to come.
All textile items are handmade by me in my workroom in North London.
The stationery is inspired by my trove of magazines, packaging and sewing patterns, with a bit of vintage china thrown in (not literally! that would be daft) Sometimes I handprint original designs, and sometimes I use a UK printing company to reproduce images that I use to hand-collage cards.
