Hi! Welcome to Sweetpea & Sugar. My name is Natasha and I am the creator and designer of all of our necklaces and teethers. I live with my wonderful (sports crazy) husband, Michael, and little monkey Christopher, in Toronto, Canada.

Being a mom to a sweet almost two and a half year old little boy is by far the best thing in the world. It's hard to believe that he's grown into such a big boy so soon, as it only feels like yesterday that he was handed to me. Until that moment, I never knew or understood what people said when they say your life changes forever. That unconditional love and bond that you have with that teeny little bundle is incomparable, and I thank god everyday for blessing my husband and I with such a beautiful soul..granted he knows how to push our buttons at times lol.

I started Sweetpea & Sugar as after having Christopher I found myself not being able to enjoy my silver and gemstone pieces (unless I wanted them slightly broken), so I found the next best thing.. teething jewelry which was safe for my baby to chew, pull and play with. I wanted to create something special and different with the highest quality materials and taking the time to create each piece individually. Now that Christopher isn't teething anymore, I still wear my chewlery and no one even knows it's teething jewelry when they comment on them.

I've been through breastfeeding and nursing and the frustrations that can come along with it. Having jewelry that your baby can focus on while nursing keeps them out of your hair (literally) and allows them to build and develop their tactile skills.
