5 out of 5 starsAs usual, the quality of Simon's work is impeccable. What is even more unusual is that he is able to create a piece that is in accordance with tradition and perfectly unique. This piece was made for a particular visualization practice. He is one of a kind. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Creating the finest buddhist jewelry since 1997
I studied Jewellery & Silversmithing at Sir John Cass College, in London. In 1990 I set up my first workshop in Soho, making contemporary designer jewellery.
In 1996 I moved my workshop to Eel Pie Island on the River Thames. In 1996 a fire destroyed the studio. It was during the rebuilding process that I became interested in Buddhism. I attended meditation classes at a Buddhist centre, where I first met my teacher. At first I was asked to repair old Buddhist jewellery, and then to design and make new jewellery inspired by traditional Buddhist symbols. Gradually, with the training and support of my teacher a small collection of jewellery emerged.
In 2007, I went to live at a remote Buddhist retreat centre in France to take part in a traditional three year retreat, and later established a workshop making Buddhist jewellery and restoring sacred ritual artefacts from the Himalayan region.
After my teacher passed away, I returned to London and established a new jewellery workshop in 2019 where I now continue to work.
The timeless beauty and profound wisdom of the Buddhist tradition infuses all aspects of my work. My hope is that in some small way these precious jewels will inspire, uplift and reconnect those who wear and see them with their own inner qualities of wisdom and compassion.
