Oh boy what can I say. Maybe it was bad because I never crocheted clothing for myself. This was a very easy pattern when I read it. But I did have a problem with the sizing. I have my measurements written down and chose the appropriate size in the pattern. I also know it is important to have the same tension on both pieces. I had to undo the pieces a total of 6 times. Besides the little mistakes I found while crocheting and went back to it. The description of how to in or decrease and where at the piece. Specially when you had the beginning part up to the middle done and then you needed to do the opposite. It did not state it in the pattern. Or I guess I didn't read it right. I looked up how to do it online, which helped. But not when it came to where on the piece. It was a very frustrating piece for me. That's why only 3 stars

Pattern is for Marie top but on the 3rd page it states crochet Cherry summer top pattern. For a beginner the pattern is not easy to read. Would be better if had stitch count at end of rows. It states to repeat rows 1-5 but for pattern to be correct should only be repeating rows 2-5. I just wanted to provide constructive help with this pattern. It is very nice once complete.
