Hands-on printing and book binding while being time-consuming, is a wonderful way to wile away the hours doing something enjoyable. The cost of my pieces in no reflects the love and hours put into each one.
All prints and books are made by hand by myself in the Potting Shed Press studio. There are always slight variations to each work…that is what makes each piece unique. I use a Victorian nipping press for lino, a war time Haddon Swift fly wheel press a two 1950s Adanas for my letterpress work and a Marshal foil blocker.
Bespoke commissions also undertaken….just ask :) wedding invites? Stationary? Just ask !
I endeavour to use only recycled stock in my work and package in degradable cellophane. Always eco….at least wherever it’s possible!
During Covid-times I made £800 + supporting our local hospice with ALL profits going to St. Christopher’s. Thanks to all who supported me. I continue to support St. C though sales and donations but for now I also need to at least cover my costs!
