Announcement   HAVING A SLOW OPENING THIS YEAR.... OHIO IS REALLY COLD THIS YEAR, NOTHING WANTS TO GROW! Our succulents are a great option when you’re looking for colorful, cold-hardy succulents. They even change colors at different times of the year
Our succulents can withstand MINUS 15 degrees! WE GROW WHAT WE SELL.
Cold Hardy Succulents that are perfect for the outdoor garden or perfect for life indoors. Our greenhouse is unheated so you know you are getting a rugged hardy plant.
========================
Sempervivum Color Changes
An aspect of Sempervivum succulents is their coloring. Many of them display some of their boldest colors toward the end of winter, and into early spring. In fact, they can change colors so dramatically that you almost wouldn’t recognize two Sempervivum plants as members of the same species! PLEASE BE ON ALERT, YOUR SUCCULENT MAY NOT LOOK LIKE THE PHOTO DEPENDING ON THE SEASON. I AM SENDING YOU THE CORRECT PLANT, YOU MAY BE CONFUSING IN SUMMER UNTIL FALL.
========================
To help support the succulent farm in the long winter months, I create jewelry from maps and freshwater pearls, at my other etsy shop: TheBluePrint.etsy.com
========================
If you need larger quantities or have any questions or requests, convo me, I'd love to hear from you. I am a graduate of OHIO STATE in Landscape Horticulture and a professional grower for the past 25 years.

About

Inspired by Succulents!

After graduating from OSU, I started my own landscape and design company, saving every $$$ for a home in the country where I could open plant farm. It proves in life hard work does pay off.
I create all my items at my (30’ x 100’) greenhouse where the sky is big and blue. In my free time my hobby is creating map, wire jewelry and abstract painting.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my shop . If you have any questions or comments, just convo me, I am always happy to hear from you.

MY SUCCULENTS ARE WINTER HARDY!
My greenhouse is in northern Ohio and I do not heat my greenhouse.

Succulents get their name from their ability to store nourishing materials--particularly water--in their leaves, stems or roots. Succulents are adaptable and durable. They flourish in a variety of temperatures, and because they store water, they do not require frequent watering.
Fertilize only once every other month with half the recommended rate.
Take care not to over-water the plants because this causes the roots to rot. Water when the plant starts to droop, or the leaves have indentations, or the plant starts to look a little gray (depending on the type of succulent).
Use planting soil with good drainage characteristics. Coarse sand, perlite and organic materials make good additions to a soil mix for succulents.
Succulents do better in a relatively small amount of soil.
*Larger pots can make controlling the amount of moisture difficult and lead to poor health.

Shipping
Shipping:
Plants are shipped via USPS. We usually ship Tuesday and Wednesday, if I have time I ship on other days also.

I am not responsible for late show up dates, please order in time for your special event. Please give the correct address in shipping incorrect/Incomplete.

A broken leaf or two may be unsightly but a healthy plant will recover quickly.
Remember the plant has been thrown on a truck and driven around the United States. I do my best to make a safe environment for the plants but sometimes it will happen.

Addresses resulting in Undelivered/Delayed Package:
Because of the perishable nature of our products, shipments to incorrect current addresses will void any and all Guarantees.
Additional policies and FAQs
YOU WILL receive healthy plants or living wreaths and it is your responsibility to keep them that way. I am not responsible over their lives or living conditions after they leave my care. YOU TAKE OVER THAT RESPONSIBILITY. This is why we request the 48 hours notification to any problems.
