Not a permanent change in runes boxes but just for something a bit different, we're using a six-sided box for our newest set of elder futhark runes and in keeping with the apple theme I have pyrographed the Awen onto the centre of the lid. Just tap to go!

After sanding and pyrography but before staining, our mini runes set!

Have sanded and pyrographed Odin's rune on top of the box. Afterward it gets stained and becomes the holder for the runes we make!

Putting together an Oak pendulum which I hand carved using only a Stanley knife. We never use machines in our woodworking. That is actually easier than beading the coated 7 strand wire with all the fiddly, tiny seed beads! purple_heart

Completely handcarved and hollowed piece of Ash wood with the stopper part carved from the top of the vial. Inside go three herbs to assist mental power. Ash is such a joy to work with!

A piece of Magnolia felled by a storm which I've now fashioned into a talisman for help with medical healing. The bindrune is specific to that purpose.

This altar paten has been sanded and pyrographed, ready for staining and 3 coats of lacquer, top and bottom. Convo us if you have any particular request. We'll do our best to make one specially for you!

The lid of the box used for our new Maple Viking Runes Set as I pyrographed the pentagram on before staining in mahogany. I love working on these boxes and making runes. Just ask, I can make a special set just for you!

This little "treasure box" has just been pyrographed with Odin's rune protection sigil and stained with mahogany stain. It's filled with cedar elder futhark runes and a hessian drawstring bag.

The meagre beginnings of a smudge fan! De-barked Oak branch will be hand-sanded til smooth then three coats of lacquer. Next will be added a leather cover for handle and then the pheasant and crow feathers. Lastly a raven "fetish".

The meager beginnings of the feather detail on the Oak handle of our beautiful English crow feather smudge fan. All of our handcarving of wood is done with a simple Stanley knife, no machinery. You can always be assured of buying an original one-off!
