Fun for any miniature enthusiasts.
Clark Jackson lll here is taking advantage of bulk buys in the bookshop. As soon as the situation allows, he'll be off to the US. At least we have time to work on commissioned pieces like him.
These books, though - what a bargain with 25% off!
More mini book titles added to the Literary Emporium!
From the tale of an alarm clock with a difference to a catalogue of steampunk robots.
If your dollshouse is in lockdown it needs new reading matter.

A Family Affair

My son Matt was between jobs. A talented woodworker, with a keen interest in modelling, he hit upon the idea of making steampunk-themed room boxes. I offered to dress little characters to go in them.
Rummaging around vintage and junk shops, I found a bunch of sad, neglected 1/12 scale dollshouse dolls and set about giving them a makeover. Before long, I was fashioning tiny goggles, telescopes, gadgets and gizmos and had become hooked on steampunk!
In the meantime, my son - having set up the Steampunk Dolls House Etsy shop - found a new job and a Victorian house in Shropshire which needed renovating. Reluctantly, he handed over the running of the shop to concentrate on more pressing matters, although he still lends a hand with some of our room boxes and he and his partner still help me out at steampunk fairs and watch what we are up to.
Now I've enlisted the help of my daughter Anna. She has a background in marketing and is a very talented crafter, so a great person to have on board. She's currently developing some new lines of her own.
And in the future... my eight year old grandson is taking a very keen interest in the shop and has asked when he can join the team!
