I was lucky enough to be able to have my own studio in April 2018. Choosing the right space that would compliment my already small garden was tricky. I searched for a long time and eventually found exactly the right one made in nearby Frome. It was made in an enterprise scheme for young people needing new skills and the profits went back into the scheme. Having found the right workplace, It then took quite a while to get everything ready for making, glazing and firing pieces. Its a huge undertaking but is definitely something that makes me very happy. I spend lots of time in there with my cats waiting on the step for attention! Its also a place that I teach in. I give 1 to 1 lessons on the wheel, this is something that is hugely rewarding, I really love to see peoples astonished faces when they actually make a cup they can use on their first lesson.
