Announcement   Each piece is handmade by me in my studio in the Cotswolds, inspired by my love of antique, fabric and lace.
I choose old, broken, stained pieces of handmade lace and make something beautiful out of them.
I love the process of forming each piece and using colour to bring out all the beautiful details.

I also have a very new range of porcelain bowls. These have a gold bullion edge which when over-fired either has a rusty gold look or a beautiful green, brown and gold drip where it has reacted with the clear glaze.
Each bowl is therefore completely unique!

It's beautiful and looks so lovely on the tree and I'll be looking for a place to hang it after the festive season - it's too pretty to put away!

I am inspired by my mother’s love of antiques, fabrics, and lace; and my father's habit of collecting useful or interesting things on our walks through the countryside. My grandmother’s love of the sea and my own memories of its moods inspire the colours I love and use in my glazes. As children we were encouraged to go out and explore the farm and so we spent holidays running wild with the dogs for company, swimming in dams and rivers, exploring caves and collecting stones in all colours from the stream bed. The countryside around me and the texture I find today and the way colour reacts to it, fascinates me.
