Costuro desde criança, minha professora me ensinou a costurar uma boneca aos seis anos. O próximo foi um travesseiro de retalhos quando eu estava em Odessey of the Mind. Minha avó então me colocou sob sua proteção e me deixou ajudar com as fantasias de Halloween que ela fez para mim. No ensino médio comecei a fazer minhas próprias roupas e isso durou até a faculdade.

Então comecei minha carreira e com o tempo minha máquina de costura foi cada vez menos usada. Mas depois que tive meu primeiro filho, a inspiração para confeccionar peças artesanais trouxe um novo mundo de inspiração e a costura tem sido uma constante desde então.

Costurar e remendar é uma forma de arte onde encontro muita expressão criativa e inspiração artística quando crio novas peças. Costurar é um trabalho de amor e fico feliz em ver o quanto meus clientes apreciam os itens artesanais que crio.

I have been sewing since I was a young child, my teacher taught me how to sew a doll at the age of six. Next was a patchwork pillow when I was in Odessey of the Mind. My grandmother then took me under her wing and let me help with the Halloween costumes that she made me. In high school I began making my own clothes and that lasted through college.

Then I began my career path and over time my sewing machine was used less and less. But once I had my first child, the inspiration to make them handmade items brought a new world of inspiration and sewing has been a constant since.

Sewing and piecing is an art form where I find a lot of creative expression and artistic inspiration when I create new pieces. Sewing is a labor of love and it makes my heart happy to see how much my customers appreciate the handcrafted items that I create.
