Hi, and welcome to The Art Lounge.

I take great time, care and pride over my work and using the best materials ensures that you will receive a quality archival piece of art that's made to last and be enjoyed for years.

Aside from designing the prints, the most important aspect for me is customer service. Every print is carefully checked once printed to ensure it meets with my approval and handled in a way that keeps the surface pristine in appearance and free from human hands! This attention to detail is something of a labour of love, but is no less than I would expect as a buyer.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If for any reason you have changed your mind about an order, we will accept returns and refund the item cost (minus the shipping cost) when we receive your item back in an `as new` condition. Please note that we must be notified within 14 days of you receiving your goods that you would like a refund. Please also note that you the buyer are liable for any shipping costs to send the item back to us, and we would strongly recommend using a tracked service to ensure we safely receive your unwanted item. If we don't receive your item back then unfortunately we cannot issue a refund.

**Please contact us via an Etsy convo, before sending any items back to us.

We take great care in the packing of our prints but we realise that items can sometimes get damaged whilst in transit. In the unlikely event of receiving damaged goods, we will offer you either a full refund or a replacement item as per your wishes.

Please contact us via an Etsy Convo and we can process your request quickly and efficiently.
All payments are processed either through Paypal, a standard credit card, or through an Etsy gift card.
Please note that you don't need to have a Paypal account to pay using the Paypal service as you can securely enter your card details as you normally would.

** Please take a moment to double check that your Paypal/Etsy shipping address details are up to date before ordering. If payment is made through Paypal, we can only ship items out to the address that is stored with Paypal, (even if the details stored with Etsy are different) and are unable to ammend an address after a transaction has been processed as per the standard Paypal policy.

If you need to amend an address after a transaction has taken place, we will be able to cancel the order and refund you the full cost of the item and shipping, whereby you can update your details and re-order your item if you wish.

**International Charges/Fees/Taxes**

For countries outside of the UK, please note that additional customs charges may be due when importing your order into the country you reside in. It is your responsibility as the buyer to pay any additional fees due.
**General Shipping Info For UK Orders**

Shipping inside the UK will be made through Royal Mail as a First Class 'signed for' delivery (unless stated differently on item listings).

**General Shipping Info For Orders Outside Of The UK**

All orders leaving the UK will be sent through Royal Mail as a 'Tracked & Signed For' delivery. Your Local postal service will then deliver your order once it has passed through your country's customs processing.
If you would like expedited (express) shipping, please contact us for a quick quote.

Official Royal mail international shipping estimates are:

3-5 working days for UK to Europe
5-7 working days for UK to 'Worldwide'

**Please note that Royal Mail will only consider a parcel to be lost when the above estimates elapse and then a further 20 working days elapse (Europe) and a further 25 working days elapse (Worldwide). It's extremely rare for items to go missing but it's worth bearing in mind that delays can happen so your patience is appreciated.

**If we receive your package back to us in the event of an incorrectly supplied shipping address (ie non deliverable), or an item was not collected from your postal office before being 'returned to sender' you are responsible for the additional P&P costs to for us to resend the item back out to you.

**How We Pack Your Prints**

Great care and attention is used when preparing your prints for their journey. For small prints up to and including A3 in size will be carefully wrapped in acid free tissue paper and then placed inside a heavy, triple strengthened flat rigid mailer to ensure they stay flat.

All other prints will be carefully rolled again, inside acid free tissue paper and then placed inside a large diameter postal tube which minimises the amount of rolling needed. The end caps are then specially stapled and hand bent to ensure your order is safe and secure whilst in transit. All our tubes and end caps are made from recycled cardboard/plastic and as such are fully recyclable again once you have no need for them.
Additional policies and FAQs
We create all our designs inside what is known as a 'colour managed' environment. This means that the monitor and printer have been 'profiled', which basically means that what is seen on the monitor screen will accurately display what will be printed. This is an ongoing process that must be adhered to so as to ensure that printed output remains consistent!

Due to the differences in common consumer everyday (uncalibrated) computer monitors, phones and tablets, prints may appear slightly different from the online previews. This isn't generally a problem but remember that a VERY bright phone screen can produce colours that are simply impossible to recreate in print, as a phone screen (for example) is emitting light whereas a print can only reflect available light in a given environment.

All designs are 100% original and created by The Art Lounge using mainly Adobe Photoshop.

Please note that the sale of any design/s does not transfer copyright to the buyer and shall remain with The Art Lounge. Any unauthorised duplication or distribution is strictly forbidden under standard copyright law.
