Back in 2016 when I was pregnant with my son, I learned about the benefits of showing high contrast images to babies in the first 4-5 months of life to support visual and brain development.

Underwhelmed with the books I could find on the subject, I put my 15 years of design experience to use and decided to create my own range. What started off as illustrations just for our wee man, quickly spiralled into a business idea as I soon realised there was a gap in the market for some high quality, eco friendly books and gifts.

Passionate about the planet and wildlife I want to inspire children from as early an age as possible to love nature and animals and hopefully grow up to be the conservationists of the future. That's why the range showcases weird and wonderful species from all around the world, in a factual way that children will recognise as they grow and learn.

As a parent myself, I understand the pressure to want to give your baby a great start in life and support their development as much as possible. But that can be a huge pressure, feeling like you're not 'doing things right'. I want you to know there is no right or wrong, just opportunities to play and to learn together using sensory materials to help boost brain connections and eye co-ordination as you go.

I am also very aware of the waste in the baby sector, so although the products were originally designed to be used from birth to around 4 or 5 months (when the high contrast is at it's most effective) they will stay with your child as they grow through all of the early childhood development stages.
